Summary:To provide a lead accumulator battery having good cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A lead accumulator battery includes: an electrode plate group that includes a plurality of positive electrode plates, a plurality of negative electrode plates, and a separator; and an electrolyte. The separator includes a first separator composed of nonwoven fabric including organic fibers, and a second separator including a glass fiber mat. The first separator includes a plurality of bag-shaped separators each formed in a bag shape by welding a part of the nonwoven fabric into a welded part. The electrode plates of one of the plurality of positive electrode plates and the plurality of negative electrode plates are housed in the bag-shaped separators. The nonwoven fabric and the glass fiber mat are arranged and laminated between each positive electrode plate and each negative electrode plate adjacent to the positive electrode plate. An average tensile strength of the welded parts is within a range of 6 N/15 mm to 20 N/15 mm. When a pore of the nonwoven fabric is measured by the mercury press-in method, a ratio V1/V0 of a volumetric capacity V1 of pores whose diameter is within a range of 0.01 μm to 3.2 μm to a volumetric capacity V0 of all pores is within a range of 0.11 to 0.30.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】サイクル特性が良好な鉛蓄電池を提供する。【解決手段】複数の正極板、複数の負極板、およびセパレータを含む極板群と電解液とを含む。セパレータは、有機繊維を含む不織布で構成された第1のセパレータと、ガラス繊維マットを含む第2のセパレータとを含む。第1のセパレータは、不織布の一部を溶着して溶着部とすることにより袋状に形成された複数の袋状セパレータを含む。複数の正極板および複数の負極板のうちの一方の極板は袋状セパレータに収容されている。正極板と正極板に隣接する負極板との間には、不織布とガラス繊維マットとが積層されるように配置されている。溶着部の平均引っ張り強度は、6N/15mm~20N/15mmの範囲にある。不織布の細孔を水銀圧入法によって測定したときに、すべての細孔の容積V0に対する、直径が0.01μm~3.2μmの範囲にある細孔の容積V1の比V1/V0は、0.11~0.30の範囲にある。【選択図】なし
