Summary:To more exactly determine an abnormality of a current detection system which detects charging current to a battery.SOLUTION: A charge path of a charger is provided with a current detection unit which detects charging current. In addition, the charger is provided with: a first amplifier which amplifies output from the current detection unit to be output as a first detection signal of the charging current; and a second amplifier which similarly amplifies the output from the current detection unit to be output as a second detection signal of the charging current. An abnormality determination unit determines whether or not an abnormality occurs in a detection system of the charging current including the first amplifier and the second amplifier on the basis of the first detection signal to be output from the first amplifier and the second detection signal to be output from the second amplifier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】バッテリへの充電電流を検出する電流検出系の異常を、より正確に判定できるようにすることを目的とする。【解決手段】充電器の充電経路には、充電電流を検出する電流検出部が設けられている。また、充電器には、電流検出部からの出力を増幅して、充電電流の第1検出信号として出力する第1増幅器と、同じく、電流検出部からの出力を増幅して、充電電流の第2検出信号として出力する第2増幅器とが備えられている。異常判定部は、第1増幅器から出力される第1検出信号と、第2増幅器から出力される第2検出信号とに基づき、第1増幅器及び第2増幅器を含む充電電流の検出系に異常が発生したか否かを判定する。【選択図】図2
