Summary:To provide a separator for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which enables manufacture of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that has good ion permeability, and excellent heat resistance under a severe condition, compared to a conventional non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: A separator for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains a polyolefin porous film, and has a heat-resistant porous layer which is stacked on one surface or a both surfaces of the polyolefin porous film and contains a heat-resistant resin, where a shape maintenance rate when being heated at 300°C for 30 minutes is 80% or more, and total film thickness of the heat-resistant porous layer is less than 7 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】イオン透過性が良好であり、かつ、従来よりも過酷な条件下における耐熱性に優れた非水電解液二次電池を製造できる非水電解液二次電池用セパレータの提供。【解決手段】本発明の非水電解液二次電池用セパレータは、ポリオレフィン多孔質フィルムと、前記ポリオレフィン多孔質フィルムの片面または両面上に積層された、耐熱性樹脂を含む耐熱性多孔質層と、を含み、300℃にて30分間加熱する場合の、形状維持率が80%以上であり、前記耐熱性多孔質層の合計膜厚が、7μm未満である。【選択図】なし
