Summary:To suppress increase in a frequency of moving a mobile body to a hydrogen station.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system comprises a fuel battery stack, a hydrogen tank, a water storage tank, and a controller. The hydrogen tank stores hydrogen. The water storage tank stores generated water. The water storage tank's volume is set so that an amount of generated water calculated on the basis of a recovery ratio and an amount of hydrogen capable of being stored in the hydrogen tank can be housed. The recovery ratio is calculated using output current of the fuel battery stack and a temperature of a coolant for cooling the fuel battery stack. The controller detects an amount of the hydrogen stored in the hydrogen tank.
