The insecticidal component includes either one or more of a boric acid compound, dinotefuran, fipronil, and if the insecticidal component is the boric acid compound, the boric acid compound is included by 0.5 mass% or more and 15 mass% or less to a total amount of the bait composition, if the insecticidal component is the dinotefuran, the dinotefuran is included by 0.3 ppm to 100 ppm to the total amount of the bait composition, and if the insecticidal component is the fipronil, the fipronil is included by 0.1 ppm to 100 ppm to the total amount of the bait composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 スズメバチ科昆虫の巣を防除するため、食餌場所でベイト組成物を食餌後、巣まで飛翔可能で、栄養交換により巣のコロニーを崩壊可能な、スズメバチ科昆虫のベイト組成物や該ベイト組成物を用いた防除方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】 スズメバチ科昆虫の殺虫成分を含む毒餌を配合した、ベイト組成物であって、前記殺虫成分は、ホウ酸系化合物、ジノテフラン、フィプロニルのいずれか１以上を含み、前記殺虫成分がホウ酸系化合物の場合、ベイト組成物全量に対しホウ酸系化合物は０．５質量％～１５質量％であり、前記殺虫成分がジノテフランの場合、ベイト組成物全量に対しジノテフランは０．３ｐｐｍ～１００ｐｐｍであり、前記殺虫成分がフィプロニルの場合、ベイト組成物全量に対しフィプロニルは０．１ｐｐｍ～１００ｐｐｍである、ベイト組成物を提供する。【選択図】 なし
