Summary:To provide packaging paper which is environment-friendly and has good heat seal strength.SOLUTION: Packaging paper has a paper base material containing pulp as a main component, and a heat seal layer stacked on one surface or both surfaces of the paper base material, wherein the main component of the heat seal layer is a polylactic acid, a coating amount of the heat seal layer is 5.0 g/m2 or more and 10.0 g/m2 or less, Young's modulus measured according to JIS-K7127(1999) of the heat seal layer is 0.30 N/mm2 or more and 240.0 N/mm2 or less, and the heat seal layer does not contain a water-soluble polymer. Bekk smoothness on the surface of the stacked surface of the heat seal layer on the paper base material is preferably 5 seconds or more and 80 seconds or less. Moisture vapor permeability is preferably 2,500 g/m2 24 hr or more and 5,000 g/m2 24hr or less. Peeling strength at 130°C of the heat seal layer is preferably 1.50 N/15 mm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】環境に優しく、良好なヒートシール強度を有する包装紙を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一態様に係る包装紙は、パルプを主成分とする紙基材と、上記紙基材の片面又は両面に積層されるヒートシール層とを備えており、上記ヒートシール層の主成分がポリ乳酸であり、上記ヒートシール層の塗工量が5.0g/m2以上10.0g/m2以下であり、上記ヒートシール層のJIS-K7127(1999)に準拠して測定されるヤング率が0.30N/mm2以上240.0N/mm2以下であり、上記ヒートシール層が水溶性高分子を含有しない。上記紙基材におけるヒートシール層積層面の表面のベック平滑度が5秒以上80秒以下であることが好ましい。透湿度が2500g/m2・24hr以上5000g/m2・24hr以下であることが好ましい。上記ヒートシール層の130℃における剥離強度が1.50N/15mm以上であることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
