To provide a technique capable of avoiding an occurrence of a sheet jam caused by erroneous mounting of a roll sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet supply device has a contact that comes in contact with a peripheral surface of a roll around which a sheet is wound and follows an outer diameter of the roll, and includes a first sensor that outputs a first output value according to an attitude of the contact and a second sensor that outputs a second output value according to a distance between a detection position facing a roll peripheral surface and the roll peripheral surface.
