Summary: | To provide a gear manufacturing method using a skiving cutter, which can efficiently manufacture a gear having a tooth form changed in the tooth trace direction of a workpiece within a short time.SOLUTION: This gear manufacturing method comprises: a first machining step of simultaneously cutting both sides of a tooth surface adjacent to a gear blank W by using a first skiving cutter C while maintaining constant a first intersection angle which is an angle α formed between a rotation axis O1 of the gear blank W and a rotation axis O2 of the skiving cutter C; second and third machining steps of cutting only one tooth surface of the gear blank W by using a second skiving cutter C while maintaining constant second and third intersection angles different from the first intersection angle; and fourth and fifth steps of cutting only the other tooth surface of the gear blank by using the second skiving cutter C while maintaining constant fourth and fifth intersection angles different from the first intersection angle after the third machining step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】被加工材の歯すじ方向に歯形を変化させた歯車を効率的かつ短時間で製作できるスカイビングカッタを用いた歯車製作方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】歯車素材Wの回転軸O1とスカイビングカッタCの回転軸O2が成す角度αである第1交差角を一定にしながら、第1のスカイビングカッタCを用いて歯車素材Wに対して隣接する歯面の両側を同時に切削加工する第1加工工程と、第1交差角とは異なる第2および第3交差角を一定に保ちながら第2のスカイビングカッタCを用いて歯車素材Wの一の歯面だけを切削加工する第2および第3加工工程と、第3加工工程後に第1交差角とは異なる第4および第5交差角を一定に保ちながら第2のスカイビングカッタCを用いて歯車素材の他の一の歯面だけを切削加工する第4および第5加工工程を有する歯車製作方法とする。【選択図】図1 |
