Summary: | To provide a device and a method for separating and removing only an adhering portion of concrete from a flange of a steel girder without damaging the flange.SOLUTION: A device for separating a concrete floor slab for separating and crushing a concrete floor slab 10 from a steel girder 11 comprises: a U-shaped arm 26 comprising an upper arm 27, a lower arm 28, and a connecting portion 29 for loosely fitting an adhering portion 17 of concrete that is a part of the concrete floor slab 10 adhered to a flange 12 of the steel girder 11 remaining after cutting off the concrete floor slab 10 from the steel girder 11 and the flange 12 together; a vertical jack 34 attached to the upper arm 27; a gripper 43 attached downward to a piston rod 39 of the vertical jack 34 and pressing an upper surface of the adhering portion 17 of concrete to separate and crush; and a reaction force receiving member 35 attached to an upper surface of the lower arm 28 and in contact with a lower surface of the steel girder 11 to receive a reaction force of the gripper 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
