Summary: | To provide a technique advantageous in preventing a reduction in display quality of a light emitting device.SOLUTION: A light emitting device comprises a display area including a plurality of bottom electrodes arranged on a principal surface of a substrate, an organic layer including a light emitting layer arranged to cover the plurality of bottom electrodes, an upper electrode arranged to cover the organic layer, a reflection layer arranged between the principal surface and the plurality of bottom electrodes, and an insulating layer arranged between the reflection layer and the plurality of bottom electrodes. In orthogonal projection with respect to the principal surface, the reflection layer is arranged to overlap the plurality of bottom electrodes. The plurality of bottom electrodes include a first electrode and a second electrode adjacent to each other.
