Summary:To provide a control device which can reduce printing failures of a rotary screen printing machine.SOLUTION: A control device for a rotary screen printing machine includes a screen plate cylinder, a squeegee, ink recovery means, an ink amount sensor, a discharge pump, an external tank, and a supply pump. The control device includes: a storage part for recording ink amount change data indicating a secular change of an ink amount detected by the ink amount sensor, and state change time data indicating time when a state of the discharge pump or the supply pump is changed on the basis of the ink amount; a data processing part for calculating an ink change rate in the screen plate cylinder using the ink amount change data, and calculating a frequency of the state change of the discharge pump or the supply pump using the state change time data; and a drive control part for controlling the discharge pump and the supply pump on the basis of the ink amount, the ink change rate and the frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ロータリースクリーン印刷機の印刷不良を低減することが可能な制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る制御装置は、スクリーン版胴と、スキージと、インキ回収手段と、インキ量センサと、排出ポンプと、外部タンクと、供給ポンプと、を含むロータリースクリーン印刷機用の制御装置である。この制御装置は、インキ量センサによって検出されたインキ量の経時的変化を示すインキ量変化データと、インキ量に基づいて排出ポンプまたは供給ポンプの状態が変化した時刻を示す状態変化時刻データと、を記録する記憶部と、インキ量変化データを用いてスクリーン版胴内のインキ変化率を算出するとともに、状態変化時刻データを用いて排出ポンプまたは供給ポンプの状態変化の頻度を算出するデータ処理部と、インキ量、インキ変化率、および頻度に基づいて、排出ポンプおよび供給ポンプを制御する駆動制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
