Summary:To provide a multilayer capacitor which can reduce acoustic noise.SOLUTION: A multilayer capacitor includes: a main body including a lamination structure in which a first internal electrode and a second internal electrode are laminated in a first direction with a dielectric layer interposed therebetween; a first external electrode 131 and a second external electrode 132 coupled to the first internal electrode and the second internal electrode, respectively; and a noise reducing insulation layer 140 covering a surface of the main body and surfaces of the first and second external electrodes. In a direction where the surfaces of the first and second external electrodes face each other, a value obtained by dividing a sum of lengths of the first and second external electrodes by 2 is defined as BW1. In a direction parallel to a direction of BW1, a length of the noise reducing insulation layer is defined as L. In a direction perpendicular to the surface of the main body, a thickness of a portion, of the noise reducing insulation layer, covering the main body is defined as T1. In a direction parallel to a direction of T1, a thickness of the surfaces of the first and second external electrodes is defined as T2.
