Summary: | To make it possible to simultaneously quantitatively evaluate each form of degradation, such as oxidative degradation, additive depletion, moisture and abrasion powder contamination with a single device.SOLUTION: Terahertz waves are irradiated to lubricant L using an irradiation device, the transmitted waves transmitted through the lubricant L or the reflected waves reflected from the lubricant L are acquired by a detection device 40, and based on the acquired data, a plurality of parameters are calculated and at least two of the parameters including viscosity, a degree of oxidation, additive consumption, moisture content, and metal abrasion powder content of the lubricant L are separated and identified using the plurality of calculated parameters. In such a performance diagnostic method for the lubricant, data may be acquired by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy, and a plurality of parameters may be calculated based on the acquired data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3C
【課題】酸化劣化や添加剤の消耗、水分や摩耗粉の混入といった各劣化形態を、単一の装置で同時に定量評価することを可能とする。【解決手段】照射装置を用いてテラヘルツ波を潤滑油Lに照射し、潤滑油Lを透過した透過波または潤滑油Lから反射した反射波を検出装置40にて取得し、該取得したデータを基に、複数のパラメータを算出し、算出した複数のパラメータを用い、潤滑油Lの粘度、酸化程度、添加剤の消費量、水分量、金属摩耗粉量の少なくとも2つを分離同定する。かかる潤滑油の性能診断方法において、テラヘルツ時間領域分光法によりデータを取得し、該取得したデータを基に、複数のパラメータを算出してもよい。【選択図】図3C |
