To provide a bean curd cutting device and a bean curd cutting method which achieves uniformization of a cut bean curd by enabling cutting of a bean curd from a large-sized bean curd and overturn of the bean curd at the same position and the same timing.SOLUTION: A bean curd cutting device 40 includes a conveyor 31 for conveyance for conveying a large-sized bean curd T1, a perforated belt 43 for conveying bean curds T2 separated from the large-sized bean curd T1, a gangway footplate 45 for bridging the large-sized bean curd T1 from the conveyor 31 for conveyance, and a cutter part 411 for sequentially cutting the large-sized bean curd T1 travelling on the perforated belt 43 from its end at a position with predetermined thickness, wherein a second belt conveyor of the perforated belt 43 naturally falls the bean curds T2 separated from the large-sized bean curd T1 backward, and conveys the bean curds T2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】大判の豆腐から切り出し、同じ位置、同じタイミングで転倒させることを可能とすることで、切り出した豆腐の均一化を図ることが可能な豆腐切断装置および豆腐切断方法を提供する。【解決手段】豆腐切断装置４０は、大判の豆腐Ｔ１を搬送する搬送用コンベア３１と、大判の豆腐Ｔ１から切り離された豆腐Ｔ２を搬送する開きベルト４３と、搬送用コンベア３１から大判の豆腐Ｔ１を渡らせる渡り板４５と、開きベルト４３を進行する大判の豆腐Ｔ１の端から所定厚みの位置で、順次、切断するカッター部４１１と、開きベルト４３第２のベルトコンベアは、大判の豆腐Ｔ１から切り離された豆腐Ｔ２を後方へ自然転倒させ、搬送する。【選択図】図４
