Summary:To provide a vehicle control device which can prevent the vehicle that cannot travel from being left unattended on a road.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises: a communication unit which communicates with a mobile terminal operated by a user outside of a vehicle; and a control unit which executes automatic parking control which causes the vehicle to travel to a preset target parking position and causes the vehicle to park in the target parking position in response to an operation signal transmitted by the mobile terminal when the user performs prescribed operation to the mobile terminal. The control unit executes: first abnormality vehicle stop control for decelerating the vehicle to stop the vehicle and changing an ignition from an on state to an off state when the vehicle stops in the case where a general abnormality occurs during execution of the automatic parking control; and second abnormality vehicle stop control for decelerating the vehicle to stop the vehicle and prohibiting the ignition from being changed changes ignition of the vehicle to the off state, in the case where a specific abnormality occurs in the vehicle during execution of the automatic parking control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】走行不能な車両が路上に無人で放置されることを防止できる車両制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両の外部にいるユーザが操作する携帯端末と通信する通信ユニットと、ユーザが携帯端末に所定の操作を行った場合に携帯端末が送信する操作信号に応じて、車両を予め設定された目標駐車位置へと走行させ、車両を目標駐車位置に駐車させる自動駐車制御を実行する制御ユニットと、を備える。制御ユニットは、自動駐車制御の実行中に通常異常が発生した場合、車両を停車させるために車両を減速させ、且つ、車両が停車した場合には車両のイグニッションをオン状態からオフ状態に変化させる第１異常停車制御を実行し、自動駐車制御の実行中に車両に特定異常が発生した場合、車両を停車させるために車両を減速させ、且つ、車両が停車した場合のイグニッションのオフ状態への変化を禁止する第２異常停車制御を実行する。【選択図】図４
