Summary:To provide a switching power supply device capable of achieving high efficiency even when there are variations in the characteristics of components.SOLUTION: A control unit (CNT1) of a switching power supply device (1A) has a first state in which a first switch (SW1) is switched on and a second switch (SW2) is switched off, a second state in which the first switch is off and the second switch is on, a third state in which the first and second switches are off, and a fourth state in which a voltage at a connection node of the first and second switches is lower than in the third state.
