Summary:To provide a method for producing a laminate having a functional layer that is ideal for use in a variety of industrial applications.SOLUTION: A method for producing a laminate includes forming a functional layer containing an anionically modified cellulose nanofiber on a transfer substrate and then bonding a support substrate onto the functional layer, before peeling the functional layer from the transfer substrate, so that the functional layer containing the anionically modified cellulose nanofiber is formed on the support substrate.
