Summary: | To inhibit the scattering of Mn contained in an interconnector into a fuel chamber.SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack includes: an electrochemical reaction single cell that includes an electrolyte layer containing a solid oxide, and an air electrode and a fuel electrode facing each other in a first direction with the electrolyte layer sandwiched therebetween; and a Mn-containing interconnector that is located on the opposite side of the air electrode in the first direction with respect to the fuel electrode and that defines a fuel chamber facing the fuel electrode. The interconnector has: a reaction area facing part located in an area where the electrolyte layer, the air electrode and the fuel electrode are overlapped in a first directional view; and a reaction area non-facing part that is not included in the reaction area facing part. The fuel cell stack further includes a specific member that is in contact with the reaction area facing part and that contains a specific element forming a compound with Mn, the specific member at least partially facing the fuel chamber.
