Summary:To provide a technology to execute a hearing acuity examination accurately while avoiding false recognition and an operation mistake of an examiner.SOLUTION: A silent position M3 in which presentation of masking noises is not executed is provided next to a position M2 of a minimum output sound of a sub-channel dial 32. A state in which masking noises are not displayed at all can be attained by adjusting the sub-channel dial 32 to the silent position M3. The state in which masking noises are not presented at all by turning down the sub-channel dial 32 to the minimum by providing the silent position M3 (OFF) explicitly next to the position M2 of the minimum output sound of the sub-channel dial 32 can be attained so that it is possible to eliminate a procedure to set the masking noises to be silent with another switch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】検査者の誤認識や操作ミスを避け、聴力検査を正確に行うことができる技術を提供する。【解決手段】サブチャンネルダイアル３２の最小出力音の位置Ｍ２のさらに隣に、マスキングノイズの提示が行われない状態となる無音の位置Ｍ３を設ける。そして、無音の位置Ｍ３にサブチャンネルダイアル３２を合わせることで、完全にマスキングノイズが提示されない状態とすることができる。サブチャンネルダイアル３２の最小出力音の位置Ｍ２の隣に、明示的に無音の位置Ｍ３（ＯＦＦ）を設けることで、サブチャンネルダイアル３２を最小に絞ることでマスキングノイズを完全に提示しない状態にすることができ、別のスイッチでマスキングノイズを無音に設定する手順を減らすことができる。【選択図】図３
