To provide a printing system that can suppress a liquid discharge part from discharging liquid more than necessary.SOLUTION: In a printing device, a first control part, when instructed to maintain a liquid discharge part in accordance with operation of an operation part, transmits first information by which at least identification information about the printing device can be identified to a serve device. In the server device, a second control part, when receiving the first information, transmits to the printing device, second information by which a fact that permission information is included in the user information can be identified, when the permission information is included in the user information associated with the identification information about the printing device.
