Summary:To assist a driver in taking an appropriate collision avoidance action.SOLUTION: A driving assistance ECU 10 determines whether or not an own vehicle is in an intersection entry situation when a collision predicted time TTC has become equal to a first threshold value TTC1 or less (S13 to S14). The driving assistance ECU 10 calculates a lap rate L when the own vehicle is not in the intersection entry situation (S15). The driving assistance ECU 10 displays "BRAKE!" on an indicator 21 when the own vehicle is not in the intersection entry situation and the lap rate L is at a threshold value L1 or more (S17).
