Summary:To provide a digital method driver circuit that can employ a low-bit A/D converter.SOLUTION: An error detection amplifier 220 receives a current feedback signal VFB indicating a motor drive current and an analog command signal VDAC and generates an error signal VERR indicating an error between a drive current IDRV and its target amount IREF. An A/D converter 230 converts the analog error signal VERR generated by the error detection amplifier 220 into a digital error signal DERR. A digital compensator 240 generates a digital control amount DCTRL on the basis of the digital error signal DERR output by the A/D converter 230. A D/A converter 250 converts the digital control amount DCTRL to an analog control signal VCTRL.
