Summary:To provide a data takeover method, a communication assistance device, a communication assistance program and a communication assistance system with which, in a vehicle that assists in communication between a user and the vehicle by an interactive user interface using biomimetic characters, the data used for assisting in communication is taken over without impairing the feeling of creature in the characters.SOLUTION: When a special control code 33 which is a takeover start trigger is a first code 33a that indicates output of takeover data 53 to the outside, a parting operation for notifying a user 10 of parting from a biomimetic character by changing a form of the biomimetic character from a first form that is used for communication, to a second form which is different from the first form is executed by an agent part 22.
