Summary:To provide a polarizing plate which significantly suppresses discoloration when used in organic EL display devices.SOLUTION: A polarizing plate according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a polarizer having first and second principal surfaces opposing each other, and a laminated film disposed on the first principal surface side of the polarizer, the laminated film comprising a base material and a hard coat layer arranged in order from the polarizer side, and having an intermediate layer provided between the base material and the hard coat layer, the intermediate layer containing components originating from the base material and from the hard coat layer.
