Summary:To provide a resistance heating element suitable for a heat source of a fixing belt of an image forming apparatus, and an endless belt having a resistance heating layer.SOLUTION: A resistance heating element contains polyimide resin and graphite particles having an average particle diameter of 3-18 μm and an average aspect ratio of 1.23 or more, and an endless belt has a resistance heating layer. The average aspect ratio of the graphite particles is 3.0 or less. The average particle diameter of the graphite particles is 5-10 μm. The content of the polyimide resin is 50-90 volume% based on the total volume of the resistance heating element.
