Summary:To provide a protector which has high fluid discharging performance while at the same time allowing improvement in assembling workability.SOLUTION: A protector 4 comprises a housing 5 which houses a connector part 3 connected to a tip end of a wire. On a first outer surface 26a among its plurality of outer surfaces 26, the housing 5 is provided with a fixing member 28 for fixing the protector 4 to an engaged part 29 of a fitting object 27. On a second outer surface 26b located opposite to the first outer surface 26a, there is provided a recessed part 34 for discharging a fluid attracted onto the second outer surface 26b. The recessed part 34 is a groove intersecting part 36 at which a plurality of grooves 35 intersect one another.
