Summary:To provide an automatic reverse driving control device which can deal with a change in a road surface condition and the improvement of unstable traveling during forward traveling, enables a vehicle to easily return even when forward traveling is impossible, and enables a driver to drive on a rough road or the like without worry.SOLUTION: An automatic reverse driving control device includes: a traveling information input section 120 for inputting information on a traveling trajectory of a vehicle 1 and a road surface gradient; a traveling information storage section 130 for storing the inputted information on the traveling trajectory of the vehicle and the road surface gradient; an automatic reverse traveling instruction input section 140 for inputting a switching instruction from traveling by a driver's driving operation to automatic reverse traveling by an ECU 100; and a control section 200 for, upon the input of the switching instruction, controlling the reverse traveling of the vehicle 1 with driving force based on the traveling trajectory on an outward trip stored in the traveling information storage section 130 and appropriate to a road surface inclination with the road surface gradient on the outward trip inverted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】路面状況の変化や、前進走行時の不安定な走行の改善に対応し、前進走行不能時にも容易に引き返すことができ、運転者が安心して悪路等を走行することができる自動後退運転制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】自動後退運転制御装置は、車両1の走行軌跡および路面勾配に関する情報を入力する走行情報入力部120と、入力された車両の走行軌跡および路面勾配に関する情報を記憶する走行情報記憶部130と、運転者の運転操作による走行からECU100による自動後退走行への切り替え指示を入力する自動後退走行指示入力部140と、切り替え指示の入力により、走行情報記憶部130に記憶された往路の走行軌跡に基づくとともに、往路の路面勾配を反転させた路面傾斜に適した駆動力で、車両1の後退走行を制御する制御部200と、を有する。【選択図】図2
