To provide a machine tool which can reduce the size of a device by optimizing arrangement of a cover protrusion part of a device cover and a workpiece table.SOLUTION: A machine tool comprises: a workpiece holding device which holds a workpiece; a processing device which executes processing to the workpiece held by the workpiece holding device; a loader which executes delivery of the workpiece between the workpiece holding device and itself; a device cover which stores the workpiece holding device and the processing device; and a workpiece table on which the workpiece held by the loader can be placed. The device cover includes a cover protrusion part which protrudes to the outer side from the device cover and stores at least a portion of the workpiece holding device.
