To obtain a shoe which suppresses reduction in fitness to a foot of a wearer over time.SOLUTION: A shoe 50 includes an upper 1 for covering a foot of a wearer and a sole 2. The upper 1 includes an exterior material 15 for an outer surface and a lining 11 for an inner surface, and a first opening 1A for making the foot of the wearer pass through is formed. In the upper 1, an ankle fit part for improving fitness to an ankle of the wearer is provided in the periphery of an opening from a front part of a part for covering right below an inner ankle of the wearer to a front part of a part for covering right below an outer ankle of the wearer with a part for covering a heel of the wearer in between. The ankle fit part includes at least the lining 11, a molding sponge material 12, and the exterior material 15. The lining 11, the molding sponge material 12, and the exterior material 15 are arranged in this order from a center side of the first opening 1A.
