A first straight line area is inclined at a steeper angle with respect to a first virtual straight line than a second straight line area. Positions of both ends of the first straight line area and positions of both ends of the second straight line area are aligned in a direction corresponding to the width direction of the magnetic tape. Positions of the plurality of gap patterns are aligned in a longitudinal direction of the magnetic tape.
