Summary:To provide an internal combustion engine in which an exhaust valve and an intake valve are simultaneously opened at the time of transition from an exhaust stroke to an intake stroke, and deterioration of emission due to a blow-by phenomenon can be suppressed satisfactorily.SOLUTION: A control device for an internal combustion engine includes a port injection valve that injects a fuel into an intake port, and a supercharger, and is applied to an internal combustion engine in which an exhaust valve and an intake valve can be opened simultaneously at the time of transition from an exhaust stroke to an intake stroke. The control device sets a threshold based on the atmospheric pressure to be small when the temperature of the internal combustion engine is low as compared with that when the temperature is high, and starts a fuel injection from the port injection valve after the exhaust valve is closed, when the intake pressure of the internal combustion engine is the threshold or higher and the opening periods of the exhaust valve and the intake valve overlap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】排気行程から吸気行程への移行に際して排気バルブおよび吸気バルブを同時に開弁させる内燃機関において、吹き抜け現象によるエミッションの悪化を良好に抑制する。【解決手段】本開示の内燃機関の制御装置は、吸気ポートに燃料を噴射するポート噴射弁と、過給機とを含み、排気行程から吸気行程への移行に際して排気バルブおよび吸気バルブを同時に開弁させることができる内燃機関に適用され、内燃機関の温度が低いときに当該温度が高いときに比べて小さくなるように大気圧に基づいて閾値を設定し、内燃機関の吸気圧が当該閾値以上であり、かつ排気バルブおよび吸気バルブの開弁期間がオーバーラップしているときに、ポート噴射弁からの燃料噴射を排気バルブの閉弁後に開始させる。【選択図】図4
