To provide a slide rail that is excellent in design and is capable of increasing the strength more than a conventional one.SOLUTION: A slide rail 10 that holds an object 70 in a slidably moving manner, the slide rail comprising a rail body 11 that includes a guide part 12 having an opening 16 on the surface facing the object 70 and slidably holding a slider 71 of the object 70 through the opening 16, a light guide plate 30 formed from a plate member extending along the rail body 11, and a light source 40 that is attached to an edge of the light guide plate 30 and makes light incident on an end surface of the light guide plate 30.
