Summary:To prevent the occurrence of howling due to the presence of two or more information processing devices in close proximity when a remote conference is held by transmitting and receiving audio data between a plurality of information processing devices via a network.SOLUTION: A CPU receives advertisement signals each including a conference ID, and information about the state of a microphone or information about the state of a speaker, from other terminal devices through short-range wireless communication channels. The CPU identifies, among the terminal devices that have transmitted the received advertisement signals, as a proximity device, a terminal device whose advertisement signal contains the same conference ID as the conference ID of a web conference which its own device is scheduled to participate in and whose distance from the own device is shorter than a preset distance. The CPU compares the state of the microphone of the identified proximity device with the state of a speaker of the own device, compares the state of the speaker of the identified proximity device with the state of a microphone of the own device, and determines the possibility of occurrence of howling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】ネットワークを介して複数の情報処理装置間で音声データを送受信して遠隔会議を行う際に、2台以上の情報処理装置が近接した場所に存在することに起因するハウリングの発生を抑制する。【解決手段】CPUは、会議ID及び、マイクの状態に関する情報又はスピーカの状態に関する情報を含むアドバタイズ信号を、近距離無線通信回線により他の端末装置から受信する。CPUは、受信したアドバタイズ信号を送信した端末装置のうち、自装置が参加する予定のWeb会議の会議IDと同一の会議IDがアドバタイズ信号に含まれ、自装置との距離が予め設定された距離よりも短い端末装置を近接装置として特定する。CPUは、特定した近接装置におけるマイク部の状態と自装置におけるスピーカの状態とを比較し、特定した近接装置におけるスピーカの状態と自装置におけるマイクの状態とを比較して、ハウリングが発生する可能性を判定する。【選択図】図4
