Summary:To provide an aqueous two-component coating composition excellent in pot life, dispersibility, coating film appearance, and the like, and a method for producing a coating film.SOLUTION: An aqueous two-component coating composition contains a resin dispersed or emulsified in water, a curing agent, and a pigment. The curing agent contains a polyisocyanate derived from one or more diisocyanates selected from the group consisting of aliphatic diisocyanates and alicyclic diisocyanates. The resin has a hydroxyl value of 50 mg KOH/g or more and 250 mg KOH/g or less. The polyisocyanate has an SP value being a solubility parameter of 8.3 or more and 9.6 or less, a content of a six-membered ring structure derived from an isocyanate group of 40 mol% or more and 80 mol% or less, and an allophanate group content of 1 mol% or more and 20 mol% or less. The curing agent has a viscosity at 25°C of 300 mPa s or more and 1,500 mPa s or less in a solvent-free state.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】ポットライフ、分散性及び塗膜の外観等に優れる水系2成分型塗料組成物、塗膜の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】水に分散又は乳化された樹脂と、硬化剤と、顔料とを含む水系2成分型塗料組成物であって、前記硬化剤は、脂肪族ジイソシアネート及び脂環族ジイソシアネートからなる群より選択される1種以上のジイソシアネートから誘導されるポリイソシアネートを含み、前記樹脂の水酸基価は、50mgKOH/g以上250mgKOH/g以下であり、前記ポリイソシアネートは、溶解性パラメーターであるSP値が8.3以上9.6以下であり、イソシアネート基に由来する6員環構造の含有量が40モル%以上80モル%以下、かつアロファネート基の含有量が1モル%以上20モル%以下であり、前記硬化剤は、溶剤を含まない状態での25℃における粘度が300mPa・s以上1,500mPa・s以下である、水系2成分型塗料組成物。【選択図】なし
