Summary:To provide a mist generating device for suppressing the degradation of blowing efficiency.SOLUTION: A distance A from a rotary shaft 13 to the outer periphery of a fan casing 9 is made shorter than a distance B from the rotary shaft 13 to the outer periphery of a rotary body casing 8. Thus, water flowing upward along the inner wall of the rotary body casing 8 with the blow of a blowing fan 7 and the operation of centrifugal force hardly enters into the fan casing 9 which has a smaller diameter than the rotary body casing 8, hardly causing the blowing fan 7 to be splashed with the water to prevent the degradation of blowing efficiency along with an increase of blowing resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 送風効率の低下を抑制するミスト発生装置を提供する。【解決手段】 回転軸１３からファンケーシング９の外周までの距離Ａを、回転軸１３から回転体ケーシング８の外周までの距離Ｂよりも小さくすることにより、送風ファン７の送風と遠心力の作用で回転体ケーシング８の内壁を沿って上方に流れる水は、回転体ケーシング８より小径となっているファンケーシング９内に入りにくくなるため、送風ファン７に水がかかりにくくなり、送風抵抗の増大に伴う送風効率の低下を防止することができる。【選択図】図３
