Summary:To promote the use of a function of remote control, in a hot water supply device that has a function capable of performing remote control from a terminal device through a server.SOLUTION: A hot water supply device 10 has a function capable of performing remote control via a server 50 from a mobile terminal device. The hot water supply device 10 comprises an operation display unit 131 that is an operation unit and a notification unit, a speaker 136 that is a notification unit, and a control unit 133. When application software that enables remote control is not installed on the mobile terminal device, the control unit 133 causes the operation display unit 131 and the speaker 136 to perform notification to prompt installation of the application software based on the operation display unit 131 accepting a predetermined operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】端末装置からサーバを介して遠隔操作できる機能を有する給湯装置において、遠隔操作の機能の利用促進を図る。【解決手段】給湯装置１０は、携帯端末装置からサーバ５０を介して遠隔操作できる機能を有する。給湯装置１０は、操作部および報知部である操作表示部１３１、報知部であるスピーカ１３６および制御部１３３を備える。制御部１３３は、携帯端末装置に、遠隔操作を可能にするアプリケーションソフトがインストールされていない場合、操作表示部１３１が所定操作を受け付けたことに基づいて、アプリケーションソフトのインストールを促す報知を、操作表示部１３１およびスピーカ１３６に行わせる。【選択図】図２
