Summary:To provide a gas consumption prediction device and a gas consumption prediction method capable of improving accuracy for predicting a future gas usage at a consumer's house.SOLUTION: A gas consumption prediction system comprises: a measurement unit that is installed in a customer's house and measuring a gas usage of each of a plurality of customer's houses; a collection unit that collects the gas usage used by each consumer's house from the measurement unit at a predetermined cycle; a classification unit that classifies each of the plurality of consumer's houses into one of a plurality of groups based on the gas usage status of the consumer's houses during a gas usage collection period; and a prediction unit that predicts a gas usage after the date of the last collection by the collection unit for each consumer's house based on a logic corresponding to each group classified by the classification unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】需要家宅の将来的なガス使用量の予測の精度を従来よりも向上することが可能なガス消費予測システムおよびガス消費予測方法を提供する。【解決手段】ガス消費予測システムは、需要家宅に設置され、複数の需要家宅の各々のガス使用量を計測する計測部と、需要家宅毎のガス使用量を所定周期で計測部から収集する収集部と、ガス使用量の収集期間における需要家宅によるガスの使用状況に基づいて、複数の需要家宅の各々をそれぞれ複数のグループの一に分類する分類部と、分類部により分類された各グループに対応するロジックに基づき、収集部による最後の収集の日以降のガス使用量を需要家宅毎に予測する予測部とを備える。【選択図】図1
