To provide an image forming device capable of simultaneously achieving correction accuracy of skew correction and miniaturization of a margin between images.SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises: a color shifting amount calculation unit that calculates a color shifting amount; and first and second skew correction control units that control skew correction of color shifting. The first skew correction control unit controls first skew correction carried out by a mechanical operation of an image forming unit on the basis of a preset first color shifting residual target value.
