Summary:To provide a base isolation structure capable of lengthening a natural period while reducing a vertical space between a lower structure and an upper structure.SOLUTION: A base isolation structure 1 provided between a lower structure 2 and an upper structure 3 includes a fixed structure 10 fixed to one of the lower structure 2 and the upper structure 3, a movable structure 20 supported by the other of the lower structure 2 and the upper structure 3 movably in a horizontal direction, a tension member 30 having one end fixed to the other of the lower structure 2 and the upper structure 3, and a conversion mechanism 40 supported by the fixed structure 10, connected to the tension member 30 and the movable structure 20 and configured to convert a vertical load applied from the movable structure 20 into a tensile force of the tension member 30 so as to reduce a horizontal restoring force applied from the tension member 30 to either of the lower structure 2 and the upper structure 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】下部構造物と上部構造物との間の上下方向のスペースを小さくしながら固有周期を長周期化することが可能な免震構造を提供することである。【解決手段】下部構造物2と上部構造物3との間に設けられる免震構造1であって、下部構造物2及び上部構造物3の何れか一方に固定された固定構造10と、下部構造物2及び上部構造物3の何れか他方に水平方向に移動自在に支持された可動構造20と、下部構造物2及び上部構造物3の何れか他方に一端が固定された引張材30と、固定構造10に支持されるとともに引張材30及び可動構造20に連結され、引張材30から下部構造物2及び上部構造物3の何れか他方に加えられる水平方向復元力が低減されるように、可動構造20から加えられる上下方向荷重を引張材30の引張り力に変換する変換機構40と、を有することを特徴とする免震構造1。【選択図】図1
