Summary:To provide a technique that can reduce power consumption of a vehicle while detecting whether the vehicle is in a parking lock state or not even during external charging.SOLUTION: An electronic control device 1, which is mounted on a vehicle equipped with a battery 2 that is charged by an external power source of the vehicle, comprises a determining part 52 and a power supply control part 53. The power supply control part controls supply of electric power and stop of the supply in the electronic control device. The power supply control part supplies electric power in a predetermined cycle, in a period of time of external charging during which the battery is charged. The determining part receives the supply of electric power and determines either of a lock state or a non-lock state, in the period of time of external charging. The power supply control part stops the supply of electric power, after the determining part completes the determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】外部充電中にもパーキングロック状態であるか否かを検出しつつ、車両の消費電力を低減する技術を提供する。【解決手段】車両外部の電源によって充電されるバッテリ2を備える車両に搭載される電子制御装置1は、判定部52と、電源コントロール部53と、を備える。電源コントロール部は、電子制御装置内における電力の供給及び供給停止を制御する。電源コントロール部は、バッテリが充電される外部充電の期間において、予め定められた周期で電力を供給する。判定部は、外部充電の期間において、電力の供給を受けて、ロック状態及び非ロック状態のいずれかを判定する。電源コントロール部は、判定部が判定を完了した後、電力の供給を停止する。【選択図】図1
