To provide a waterproof connector excellent in assemblability and easy to operate a retainer.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector 10 includes a terminal, a housing 20 having a terminal accommodating portion in which the terminal is accommodated, a seal ring 26, a front mask 50, and a retainer 40 assembled to the housing 20 so as to be movable between a temporary locking position and a full locking position, and when the retainer 40 is held at the temporary locking position, the terminal is allowed to be inserted into the terminal accommodating portion, and when the retainer 40 is held at the full locking position, the terminal is retrained inside the terminal accommodating portion. The waterproof connector 10 includes a first inner wall that moves the retainer 40 from the temporary locking position to the full locking position in the process of fitting the front mask 50 to the housing 20, and a second inner wall that moves the retainer 40 from the full locking position to the temporary locking position in the process of separating the front mask 50 from the housing 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】組み付け性に優れ、リテーナの操作が容易な防水コネクタを提供する。【解決手段】防水コネクタ１０は、端子と、端子が内部に収容される端子収容部を有するハウジング２０と、シールリング２６と、フロントマスク５０と、仮係止位置と本係止位置との間で移動可能にハウジング２０に組み付けられるリテーナ４０と、を備え、リテーナ４０が仮係止位置に保持された状態では、端子の端子収容部への挿入が許容され、リテーナ４０が本係止位置に保持された状態では、端子が端子収容部の内部に抜け止めされるようになっている防水コネクタ１０であって、フロントマスク５０をハウジング２０に嵌合させる過程で、リテーナ４０を仮係止位置から本係止位置に移動させる第１内壁と、フロントマスク５０をハウジング２０から離脱させる過程で、リテーナ４０を本係止位置から仮係止位置へと移動させる第２内壁と、を有する。【選択図】図１
