Summary:To appropriately analyze so as to maintain the concentrations of trivalent and hexavalent chromium included in a process liquid in a desired range.SOLUTION: Provided is a sample analyzer 100 comprising: an oxidation reaction unit 70 for oxidizing trivalent chromium contained in the sample liquid having been extracted from a process liquid for treating the surface of a metal material into a hexavalent chromium; a detection unit 40 for detecting the concentration of trivalent chromium and the concentration of hexavalent chromium contained in the sample liquid; and a control unit 60 for selectively executing a first supply mode in which a first sample liquid having passed through the oxidation reaction unit 70 is supplied to the detection unit 40 and a second supply mode in which a second sample liquid having not passed through the oxidation reaction unit 70 is supplied to the detection unit 40.
