Summary:To provide a positioning device for a stator core, having compact structure and enabling positioning of the stator core.SOLUTION: A positioning device 1 for a cylindrical stator core 100 positioning a plurality of magnetic steel sheets is provided, wherein the cylindrical stator core 100 is formed by laminating, in a sheet thickness direction, the plurality of magnetic steel sheets having an annular stator core main body portion and a plurality of teeth 103 extending to a radial direction inner side while being positioned in an inner peripheral side of the stator core main body portion. The positioning device includes: a plurality of positioning members 10 that is positioned in the radial direction inner side of the plurality of teeth 103, and comes in contact with a radially inner end surface 103a of the plurality of teeth 103; a conversion mechanism 3 that converts a rotational driving force to a radial direction; and a motor 8 that generates the rotational driving force.
