To suppress reduction in accuracy of object detection by periphery monitoring caused by a fixture in a cabin to be an obstacle when performing periphery monitoring of a vehicle using a sensor provided in the cabin.SOLUTION: A crime prevention device 3 for a vehicle in which a sensor 22 for detecting a target by transmitting/receiving electromagnetic waves is provided in a cabin comprises a notification unit 66, an obstacle detection unit 62 and an obstacle move unit 64. When a suspicious object around the vehicle is detected by periphery monitoring using the sensor while the vehicle is in a parked state, the notification unit notifies a mobile terminal of the detection via a cloud. When the vehicle is parked, the obstacle detection unit detects an obstacle which disturbs the periphery monitoring in the cabin via the sensor prior to the periphery monitoring and when an obstacle is detected by the obstacle detection unit, the obstacle move unit moves the obstacle so as not to disturb the periphery monitoring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】車室内に設けられたセンサを使って車両の周辺監視を行う際に、車室内の備品が障害物となって、周辺監視による物体の検出精度が低下するのを抑制する。【解決手段】電磁波を送受信することで物標を検出するセンサ２２が車室内に設けられた車両の防犯装置３は、報知ユニット６６と、障害物検出ユニット６２と、障害物移動ユニット６４を備える。報知ユニットは、車両が駐車状態であるときにセンサを用いた周辺監視によって車両周辺の不審物体が検出されると、クラウドを介して携帯端末に報知する。障害物検出ユニットは、車両が駐車されると、周辺監視に先立って、センサを介して、車室内で周辺監視の妨げとなる障害物を検出し、障害物移動ユニットは、障害物検出ユニットにて障害物が検出されると、その障害物が周辺監視の妨げにならないように移動させる。【選択図】図４
