Summary:To provide a silica membrane that can efficiently separate specific components from a mixed solution containing components with different molecular sizes and physical properties, and whose performance (separation ability) is difficult to decrease even when repeatedly used.SOLUTION: The silica membrane of the present disclosure has a central pore size of 0.5 to 5.0 nm and has amino and/or ammonium groups. The silica membrane preferably contains a structure derived from a silane coupling agent having the amino group and/or the ammonium group. The silane coupling agent contains alkoxy groups and monovalent organic groups respectively attached to silicon atoms, and at least one of the monovalent organic groups preferably has an amino group and/or an ammonium group in and/or at the end of the chain.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】分子サイズや物性の異なる成分を含む混合溶液から特定の成分を効率よく分離することができ、且つ繰り返して使用してもその性能(分離能)が低下しにくいシリカ膜を提供する。【解決手段】本開示のシリカ膜は、中心細孔径が0.5~5.0nmであり且つアミノ基及び/又はアンモニウム基を有する。上記シリカ膜は、前記アミノ基及び/または前記アンモニウム基を有するシランカップリング剤に由来する構造を含むことが好ましい。上記シランカップリング剤は、ケイ素原子にそれぞれ結合したアルコキシ基と一価の有機基とを含み、上記一価の有機基の少なくとも1つが、鎖中及び/又は末端に、アミノ基及び/又はアンモニウム基を有することが好ましい。【選択図】なし
