To provide an indoor space environment improvement method which performs sterilization and deodorization of the entire room by mounting a disinfectant deodorizer on an air conditioner by an extremely easy method, and thereby improves indoor space environment.SOLUTION: An indoor space environment improvement method for performing sterilization and deodorization of an indoor space diffuses gas generated from a disinfectant deodorizer into the indoor space by installing the disinfectant deodorizer in a filter of an indoor unit of an air conditioner or a cool air discharge port, and thereby performs sterilization and deodorization of the indoor space. A disinfectant deodorizer 1 used in the indoor space environment improvement method stores a gas generation source 3 that is a tablet containing stabilized chlorine dioxide as a main component, in a bag body 2 formed of a synthetic resin-made non-woven fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】きわめて容易な方式で、エアコン等に取り付けるだけで部屋全体の除菌、消臭等を行うことにより、室内空間環境を改善するという効果が得られる室内空間環境改善方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明に係る内空間環境改善方法は、室内空間を除菌し、消臭するための室内空間環境改善方法であって、エアコンの室内機のフィルター、あるいは、冷気排出口に除菌消臭剤を設置することにより、その除菌消臭剤から発生する気体を室内空間に拡散させることで、室内空間を除菌し、消臭することを特徴とするものである。この内空間環境改善方法に用いられる除菌消臭剤１は、合成樹脂製の不織布により形成された袋体２の中に、安定化された二酸化塩素を主成分とする錠剤である気体発生源３を収納したものである。【選択図】図１
