Summary:To provide a manufacturing method of a fire grate capable of greatly reducing significant wall thinning due to oxidation and decarburization on both ends of a pipe upon performing thermal treatment for a prototype of fire grate in which the pipe made of carbon steel is cast in a main body of the fire grate.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a fire grate 5 comprises a casting step, a plating step, and a heat treatment step. In the casting step, a pipe 2 made of carbon steel is insert-cast in a fire grate body 1, with both ends 2a, 2b of the pipe 2 protruding from the fire grate body 1 to form a fire grate prototype 50. In the plating step, at least both ends 2a, 2b of the pipe 2 are plated with metal. In the heat treatment step, the fire grate prototype 50 is heat-treated after the plating step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】炭素鋼からなる配管が火格子本体に鋳包まれた火格子原型を熱処理する際に配管の両端における酸化および脱炭による著しい減肉を大幅に軽減することができる火格子の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】火格子5の製造方法は、鋳造工程とメッキ工程と熱処理工程を含む。鋳造工程では、火格子本体1内に炭素鋼からなる配管2が、配管2の両端2a,2bが火格子本体1から突出する状態で鋳包まれた火格子原型50を作製する。メッキ工程では、配管2の少なくとも両端2a,2bに金属メッキを施す。熱処理工程では、メッキ工程後に火格子原型50を熱処理する。【選択図】図1
