To provide a work machine allowing a cab to be prevented from immediately falling even when a joint part between a hydraulic cylinder and the cab is damaged.SOLUTION: A work machine is provided with a cradle 7 placed on the rear of a cab 4 and having a guide rail 6 guiding a cab deck 5 in vertical motion, and a hydraulic cylinder 10 of which a tube 10b side is fixed on a super structure 2 or the cradle 7 to lift and lower the cab deck 5. The cab deck 5 comprises a mount part 8 on which the cab 4 is mounted and which extends in a horizontal direction, a cylinder joint part 9 erected on the rear of the mount part 8, and a guided part 11 arranged in a rear end of the mount part 8 and moving along the guide rail 6. A rod tip 10a of the hydraulic cylinder 10 is connected to the cylinder joint part 9 through a joint bracket 12 arranged on an upper end of the cylinder joint part 9, and the joint bracket 12 and the rod tip 10a are covered from above with a top plate part 21 of a fall prevention member 20 arranged on an upper end of the cylinder joint part 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】油圧シリンダとキャブとの接続部が破損した場合であっても、キャブが直ちに落下しないようにする。【解決手段】キャブ４の後方に配置され、キャブデッキ５の昇降移動をガイドするガイドレール６を有する架台７と、チューブ１０ｂ側が上部旋回体２又は架台７に固定され、キャブデッキ５を昇降させる油圧シリンダ１０とを設ける。キャブデッキ５は、キャブ４が載置される、水平方向に延びる載置部分８と、載置部分８の後部に立設されたシリンダ接続部９と、載置部分８の後端に設けられ、ガイドレール６に沿って移動する被ガイド部１１とを有し、シリンダ接続部９の上端に設けた接続ブラケット１２を介して油圧シリンダ１０のロッド先端１０ａがシリンダ接続部９に接続され、接続ブラケット１２及びロッド先端１０ａは、シリンダ接続部９の上端に設けた落下防止部材２０の天板部２１によって上方から覆われる。【選択図】図２
