Summary:To provide a power meter measuring instrument capable of minimizing a work load associated with transit works such as outdoor works at high places and checking works of a light reception level at customers' houses when such works are performed by an operator alone in Internet line installation works and troubleshooting works.SOLUTION: A power meter measuring instrument includes: transmission means 18 which receives transmitted light of an optical cable at a terminal portion of an optical line, converts the received light into serial data, and transmits the serial data wirelessly; and reception means 24 including a display section for inversely converting the serial data sent from the transmitting means in a construction section of the optical line to return the serial data to received light data for display. The transmission means is provided with a visible light source output unit that enables the introduction of visible light with an optical cable connected to the terminal portion inside a customer's house 14, thereby making it possible to remotely perform on/off-switching of insertion of visible light into the optical cable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】インターネット回線の開通工事や故障修理では、一人作業の時に、屋外での高所作業と、お客様宅内での受光レベルの確認作業などの移動作業がある。このような作業に伴う作業負担を可及的に少なくすることができるパワーメータ測定器を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】パワーメータ測定器は、光回線の末端部にて光ケーブルの伝達光を受光し、これをシリアルデータに変換して無線送信する送信手段18と、光回線の工事部にて前記送信手段から送られたシリアルデータを逆変換して受光データに戻して表示する表示部を備えてなる受信手段24と、を有している。前記送信手段にはお客様宅14内側の末端部へ接続された光ケーブルにて、可視光線を導入可能にする可視光源出力部を設けたことにより、光ケーブルへの可視光線挿入オン/オフの切替を、遠隔にて操作可能にした。【選択図】図1
