To provide a drum type washing and drying machine capable of suppressing drying unevenness in clothing which is hard to dry, without significantly extending time.SOLUTION: A drum type washing and drying machine 10 comprises a heat pump unit 15 in an air circulation path 20 for circulating air in a drum 12, and the machine 10 can execute clothing determination processing (S3) of determining whether laundry is "easy to dry clothing" or "hard to dry clothing", during a drying operation which is performed by driving the heat pump unit 15. When the laundry is determined to be "easy to dry clothing" in the clothing determination processing (NO in S4), an intake air temperature to the drum 12 is maintained to be a first intake air temperature by the drive of the heat pump unit 15 (S8). When the laundry is determined to be "hard to dry clothing" in the clothing determination processing (YES in S4), the intake air temperature to the drum 12 is increased to a second intake air temperature (S6) by the drive of the heat pump unit 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】大幅な時間延長なく、乾きにくい衣類における乾燥ムラを抑制できるドラム式洗濯乾燥機を提供する。【解決手段】ドラム式洗濯乾燥機１０は、ドラム１２内の空気を循環させるための空気循環経路２０内にヒートポンプユニット１５を備え、ヒートポンプユニット１５を駆動して行う乾燥運転中に、洗濯物が"乾きやすい衣類"であるか"乾きにくい衣類"であるかを判定する衣類判定処理（Ｓ３）を実施可能である。衣類判定処理にて"乾きやすい衣類"との判定がされた場合（Ｓ４でＮＯ）は、ヒートポンプユニット１５の駆動によりドラム１２への吸気温度を第１吸気温度に維持する（Ｓ８）。衣類判定処理にて"乾きにくい衣類"との判定がされた場合（Ｓ４でＹＥＳ）は、ヒートポンプユニット１５の駆動により、ドラム１２への吸気温度を第２吸気温度に上昇させる（Ｓ６）。【選択図】図２
